Much Wenlock to Church Stretton the B4371

There’s just so many good routes into Wales and here’s another.

Follow the A458 out towards Much Wenlock as you enter Much Wenlock you will be coming down a long hill and into a sharp left hand bend. After a short distance you will come to a sharp right hand bend with a left turn on the apex (if you get back to the national speed limit you have gone too far).

Turn left onto the B4371 for Church Stretton and head off across Wenlock Edge. There is a quarry along this road so be aware that it is used by a lot of heavy traffic.

There is also a kidney crunching dip which looks like good fun can be had on the exit as the front wheel goes light. BEWARE….DON’T because there is a crossroads hidden in the dip.

Eventually you will come to the A49 at a crossroads, right for Shrewsbury, left for Ludlow and straight ahead is the Long Mynd…….best of luck!
