I personally can only take so much of the A429 Fosse Way with its mega high speed long straights (Ok for car drivers) and I have to head off across country in search of bends/bends/bends.
Use whatever route you wish from Brum to Stow on the Wold then as you enter Stow you will see a right turn at a set of traffic lights. As you turn right the road immediately splits and you must take the left turn B4077 towards Tewkesbury.
A very quick piece of road in places with some tight forestry sections thrown in for good measure. Watch the surfaces under the heavily wooded sections because it takes a long time for it to dry out under there. Look through the trees on the bends to pick up the next line earlier.
Eventually you will come to a small roundabout at Toddington where you have the option of going left (B4632)to Cheltenham over the Winchcombe Downs ( a cracker of a road with superb vantage points to look down over Cheltenham towards the end ), straight on towards Tewkesbury which takes you to the A46 (formerly A435) and then right for Evesham or turn right (B4632) for the Broadway, this road is simply superb (thats why it has twice been part of the finalists road ride at the Bam Bash) and gives loads of opportunities to hone your cornering skills on open sweeping bends.
The B4632 takes you all the way back to Stratford eventually and past Long Marston Airfield the venue for the previous two Bam Bashes, why not pop in and visit MSM (Midland School of Motorcycling).
