The B4518 Llanbrynmair to Llanidloes

Cor blimey mister, now I know where they got their ideas from for the rollercoasters at Alton Towers. This really is ace and the views if you’re into that sort of thing are tremendous, seriously good fun.

From Newtown in Wales head out along the A489 towards Machynlleth and Dolgellau turning right onto the A470 after a short while. The A470 is a very easy road to go very quickly on and is very likely to have Federal attention if you get my drift !!

Eventually you will come into Llanbrynmair which is the start of the B4518. It is a sharp left turn so watch out for it. The road starts off very narrow and tight but stay on the main road. Do not turn off. It gradually gets better and better, quite simply ACE FUN. The reservoirs are a good place to stop for a chat and get your breath back.

You really have to do this road at least once this summer.

Seriously good fun
