The A466 Chepstow to Monmouth

Particularly good for sightseeing but nonetheless an excellent bikers road.

The road follows the River Wye all the way and takes you past Chepstow Racecourse and Tintern Abbey. There are numerous cafes en-route including one just outside Tintern ( Monmouth side ) which is an old railway station.

The road winds along through natural tunnels formed by trees that overhang the road which gives the impression that you are travelling faster than you really are.
