BAM's events
BAM has three main types of events, Group Meetings, Observed Group Runs, and other Social events.
Group Meetings are help at 8pm on every first Wednesday evening of each month, at Tally Ho Police Training Centre, Pershore Road, Edgbaston Birmingham B5 7RN. Observed Group Runs are held on alternate Saturday and Sunday mornings throughout the year; also every other Wednesday night in Summer months. For associates to have observed rides, full members to socialise and observers in training. Other Group Events include, Full Member runs for those who have passed the IAM Advanced test, tours within the UK, tours abroad and the like. Details of trips arranged so far for are shown below. As well as these organised meetings, members sometimes form smaller groups for informal meetings and rides out, once you've been on a few organised meetings you will tend to find yourself getting more involved in the informal meetings as well. |

20th. Anniversary Celebration
28th April 2012
In 2012 BAM celebrates its 20th year of 'motorcycling excellence' and will be holding an anniversary dinner for all members, associates and guests to celebrate this occasion in style.
Details:
Venue - Edgbaston Palace Hotel, 198-200 Hagley Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham B16 9PQ
Date - Saturday 28/4/2012
Programme - The evening will consist of a three course meal plus coffee and entertainment on the night.
Cost - £30 per person

Staying in good quality hotels the trip will take in The Isle of Arran, the Mull of Kintyre Peninsular, Plockton, The Isle of Skye, Ullapool, Inveraray and the Trossachs. Fun and frolics are gauranteed but the weather is not, nor that you will secure one of the limited places available so get your request in asap.
Costs:
Approximate cost of hotels is £420. In addition there will be other essential expenses such as ferry crossings, petrol and food & liquid refreshments.
Places are limited and will be allocated to those that stump up a deposit of £100 first. Please make cheques payable to Birmingham Advanced Motorcyclists (with "Scotland 2012" written on the back)
